3 Wheeled Buggies
A 3-wheeler can be used for off-road walking and for tackling terrain such as rough roads or woodland tracks. They are also simpler to move on kerbs, and they are less prone to slipping down when as opposed to 4-wheel models.

Stability

A stroller with 3 wheels can be a challenge to maneuver due to its large frame. It is more difficult to get through narrow spaces and doorways than a 4-wheeler. However some manufacturers have solved this issue by implementing a clever design that makes the wheels flip up when not in use, which decreases their overall size, and allows you get through doors without difficulty.
You'll also have to consider whether the buggy you choose to use is suitable for your child from birth or if you're planning on using it in conjunction with an infant car seat or carry cot. Check if the buggy has the ability to lie flat, and if it's compatible with second seat and buggy boards if you plan to take an infant along. A lot of 3-wheelers fold flat, and then be placed upright. This is a good option for those with an unwieldy boot space or have limited storage at home. Some 3-wheelers require you take off the front wheel to fold them into smaller spaces.
Manoeuvrability
Three-wheeled buggies generally provide better maneuverability than pushchairs with four wheels. A majority of them have a swivelling wheels on the front that allows you to control and change direction with only one hand. Certain models come with wheels that lock to offer stability on rough terrain. Certain models can be used with an additional buggy or seat, in case you want to expand your family.
If you're thinking of taking your three-wheeled bike off the paved tracks, it's worth selecting a model with air-filled tyres (also known as pneumatic tyres) that can withstand the most difficult terrain. They will require regular pumping but will be far more durable than solid tyres and are more likely to be puncture-proof. Choose a model that has a the ability to lock the swivelling wheel on the front to aid you in navigating difficult surfaces.
Having a single front wheel may also be a reason that three-wheelers tend to be heavier than buggies with four wheels when folded. Make sure the model you choose fits inside your car's boot and can be positioned upright if required. Some models fold by one hand, and can be raised when folded. This can save space in small car boot.
A well-constructed three-wheeled pushchair can be used on all terrains, from busy streets to forest tracks. However, it is important to consider the purpose you'll use it for day-to-day. If you'll be doing the school run with it, it should be able to handle the kerbs and steep slopes. If you'll be jogging with it, check that it has an adjustable swivelling'stretch' lockable front wheel to keep the ride stable.
Kath who is an MFM reviewer, found that her stroller on three wheels was able to handle both urban and rural walks. She said that it navigated cobbles, rocky paths and uneven pavements with ease and was comfortable to jog with too. The main difference between a fabric sling and a modular seat is that the fabric sling sits comfortably inside the frame of the buggy as opposed to being positioned on top like a modular seat would. This enables a much more ergonomically-correct posture for the baby that instantly gives lower center of gravity at the right height. This leads to a smoother push, a less hefty curb-pop (you don't need to exert as much effort and weight to lift the buggy off the curb) and more stability and balance.
The sling fabrics that are used in these kinds of buggy seats are very hard-wearing and easy to clean. If you're a jogger or enjoy a bit of off-roading, an all-terrain 3 wheeler could be more suited to your needs than a 4-wheeler. These types have a bigger base they are more stable and utilize air-filled tyres for smooth, easy mobility over rough terrain.
